Do it in Distribb. This opens the right page in the app. You may need to sign in first.
Open your CalendarAn article fails to publish when Distribb cannot reach your site or your site refuses the request. The article is safe in Distribb. Fix the connection, then publish it again.
Steps
- Open Calendar and switch to Table.
- Find the row with Fix & publish. The note under it says the last publish attempt did not go through.
- Open the article. The status shows Publishing Failed, and an error message says why.
- Fix the cause (see below), then choose Publish to Platform on the article page.
Common causes
- Firewall: Cloudflare, Sucuri or Wordfence blocked the request. Allow /wp-json/distribb/v1/* and try again.
- Plugin not found: the Distribb plugin is not installed or not activated, or the site URL points at /blog instead of the root.
- Key rejected: create a new Integration Key in WordPress and paste it in Integrations.
- Site too slow: your site took too long to answer. Try again later.
- Connection needs to be refreshed: on Shopify, Webflow or Wix, reconnect from Integrations.
- No active integration: the project has no connected site. Connect one first.
Check it works
The article status changes to Published and View Live Page opens it on your site.
Good to know
- When you reconnect an integration, Distribb queues recent failed articles again, two per day, so you do not need to publish each one by hand.
- If the error makes no sense to you, send it to [email protected] with the article title. A person reads every message.
- Agencies with many sites can check all client connections in one account with white label. Every article is still written by the AI content writer.
