Turn on the backlink exchange and see your links

The backlink exchange connects real businesses that link to each other's relevant articles. You earn links by giving them, and it only runs once you switch it on.

Steps

1. Open Backlinks in the sidebar, then Exchange.
2. Switch Network Participation on. The status reads Active.
3. Open the Link Strategy tab. Under Forbidden Domains, type a site you never want a link from, such as a competitor, and choose Add Domain.
4. Open the Link Activity tab to see your links.

Check it works

Earned Backlinks lists links that point to your site, with the date, the linking site, its DR and your page, marked Verified. Links waiting to be placed show under Matched Backlinks. The Links Earned card counts them.

Good to know

• New backlinks are checked daily. A new account can show none for the first weeks, because your own articles have to go out first: each one carries links to partners, and that is what earns links back.
• Distribb never sells link placements, on its own sites or in the network. When a publisher contacted through link outreach asks you for money, Distribb passes the offer on and you decide. You pay the publisher directly, and Distribb never pays on your behalf.
• The backlink exchange page explains the network in more detail. Agencies can run it for each client with white label, and local businesses get links from relevant sites in their field.
