# Connect Google Search Console

Link Search Console so Distribb can show your clicks and impressions and avoid keywords you already rank for.

Search Console is Google's free report on how your site shows up in search. Connecting it lets Distribb show you progress and plan around keywords you already rank for.

## Steps

1. Open **Integrations** in the sidebar.
2. Choose **Add Integration**, then the **Analytics** tab.
3. On **Google Search Console Connection**, choose **Connect Google Search Console**.
4. Sign in with the Google account that owns your site in Search Console, and allow access.
5. Back in Distribb, pick your site if you are asked.

## Check it works

Open **Dashboard**, then the **Analytics** card. The **Search** tab should show **Clicks**, **Impressions**, **CTR** and **Avg. position**. A brand new site can show zeros for a few days.

## Good to know

- No Search Console yet? Set it up first with Google's guide at https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/10267942, then come back to step 1.
- Customers with Search Console connected keep using Distribb longer, because they see impressions grow weeks before clicks do.
