The refund rule for every plan, and the exact steps to ask for your money back.

Changed your mind? You get a full refund if you ask within 14 days of your first payment. Renewals are not refunded. Cancel anytime and you will not be charged again.

## The rule

- It covers every plan, Pro and Accelerator, monthly and yearly.
- It covers your first payment: the one taken when your free trial ends, or when you first subscribed.
- Ask within 14 days of that payment and you get all of it back.
- Later payments (renewals) are not refunded. Cancelling stops the next charge.

## Steps

1. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose **Manage subscription**. In **Invoices**, note the date and amount of your first payment.
2. If you do not want to keep the plan, cancel first so you are not charged again: open **Settings**, then in **Plan and billing** choose **Cancel subscription** and confirm with **Confirm Cancellation**.
3. Email support@distribb.io from the email you signed up with. Write "Refund" in the subject and say which payment it is.
4. A person checks the date and sends the refund to the card you paid with.

## Check it works

You get a reply by email. The refund then shows in **Invoices** and on your card statement. Banks usually take a few days to show it.

## Good to know

- Write to us before you dispute a charge with your bank. A dispute takes weeks and freezes the money on both sides. An email is faster.
- Cancel during the 3-day free trial and you are never charged at all.
- If you only want to drop one of several websites, remove that website instead of cancelling: see [Change or remove a website](/help/billing/change-or-remove-a-website).
- What you pay for is explained on the [AI content writer](/ai-content-writer) and [backlink exchange](/backlink-exchange) pages.
