# Change or remove a website

Point a project at a new domain, or remove a website you no longer need.

You can change the website of a project in its settings. If you have two or more sites, you can also remove one.

## Change the website

1. Open **Settings**, then the **Project settings** tab.
2. In **Business Information**, change **Website URL**.
3. Choose **Save business details**.
4. Reconnect your CMS for the new site in **Integrations**.

## Remove a website

1. Switch to the project you want to remove.
2. Open **Settings**, then **Project settings**.
3. Under "Finished with this website?", choose **Remove this website** and confirm.

## Check it works

After a change, the new address shows in **Website URL**. After a removal, the site no longer appears in the project menu and its planned articles are cancelled.

## Good to know

- **Remove this website** shows only when you have two or more sites. A site covered by your base plan cannot be removed this way: cancel instead, or write to support@distribb.io.
- If the new site is a different business, the planned articles were written for the old one. Write to support@distribb.io before the next articles go out, so a person can look at your plan.
