# Find your API key and install the agent skill

Where your Distribb API key lives, how to refresh it, and how to install the skill for coding agents.

Your API key and the skill install line are on the AI Agents tab in Integrations.

## Steps

1. Open **Integrations**, choose **Add Integration**, then the **AI Agents** tab. The account menu item **API keys** opens the same place.
2. On the **API key** card, choose **Copy Key**.
3. On the **Agent Skill** card, copy the export line and the install line with **Copy**, and run them in your terminal.

## Check it works

In your coding agent, ask: "Use the Distribb skill to list my projects."

## Good to know

- Treat the key like a password. Never paste it into a chat, a public repo or a support email.
- If a key leaked, choose **Refresh Key**. The old key stops working at once. Connections made with Approve in Claude or ChatGPT use their own sign-in and are not affected.
